Birthday Presents~~

I turned 19 years old...well...as far as i remembered, still an little innocent child, my memory started at Sri Aman..then moved to Kuching...where i grown up and second part of my memory started...hmm...should i say the most interesting part of my memory so far...Here i am now, in perth, at the age of 19...Alright, below are some of the presents i received on this birthday "so far", as i know, some more presents are coming up in later times...haha...

Okie, i discovered this meaningful argumentative writing at my senior's blogspot and this article seems quite interesting to me..wuahaha...so i am thinking of making a post here for everyone...it is actually an old chinese article with moral value...some of you might heard about this short story before...but still, its a good article to share,take some time to read...thanks..=)

中国有一则寓言是这样的：一天，一个老翁和一个孩子用驴驮着货物上街去卖。
货物卖完后，孩子骑着驴回来，老翁跟着走。路人责备孩子不懂事，竟叫老人步
行。听了这样的议论，孩子和老翁便换了一个位置，可路人又说老人于心何忍，
竟让小孩子步行。老人赶忙将孩子抱到鞍上，路人又说他们残忍，不顾驴的死
活。于是，老翁和孩子都不骑驴，干脆牵着牲口走。可路人又笑他们傻，空着驴
不骑而徒步。最后，老翁对孩子叹息道：”我们没有别的办法了，只有抬着驴
走！”。

任何人做任何事难免会遭到议论。这里没有对错的问题，只是大家对事件的看法
有不同的切入点。对于别人的议论，我们该如何看待？

较为积极的态度，应是对之恭听，分析，判断，最后从这些议论中观照出自身
的一些缺点和错误，汲取经验和教训。而对于人言中的那些冷嘲热讽，捕风捉
影，无中生有，也就不需加以理会。要知道，我们无法阻止他人的议论纷纷，人
们常说”哪个背后无人说，哪个人前不说人”，以积极的态度面对，反而使人更加
成熟，更加坚强。

消极的态度是，一概的排斥，然后耿耿于怀，甚至怀恨在心，对他人做人生攻
击。这样的处理方式，会使人迷失，没有进取心，情感上产生裂痕。

这寓言要告诉我们，每个人都难免有遭人议论的时候，我们必须抱有积极的态
度，加以思考，不要被议论所左右，弄得不知是好。
